So I’m pretty surprised how hard it is to get the paint cleanly off of these stainless steel pieces. I got it done , but it took a couple passes ( see the rabbit at top). I’m not sure if it’s worth the effort because it actually looks pretty good just engraved and blackend. My problem is I really don’t have any spare pieces to play play with to perfect the look I was going for. (It was kind of interesting because the one that was black powder coated was really hard to get through for some reason.) So now I’m not sure if I need to seal the blackened paint or not so it’s more durable?
I was also toying with the idea to engrave it and then hit it with some silver spray paint. I’m just not sure how paint on burnt paint would adhere?
