Made of hickory except the hinges which broke on me so I went to PG plywood

That’s clever. You could also get just an average size nail and snip in half for those pins. Would be a more permanent solution, I think.

It’s a poem I read from a book called “the treasury of the familiar”. It is about a horse buggy that was made such that every piece would wear out at the exact same rate. It is a cute funny poem.

Oh, the Q-tip pin! It’s delightful that you fabricated your own hinges. I wonder if you could make a locking clasp for the front and turn this box into a treasure chest.
