Homing after tube off track

Laser tube came off the track. We were able to gently put it back on. I could not quickly find another post (I know I had seen it) so we moved the “arm” up and down a little and left it more or less in the center. Turned machine off and back on. Did not came back to working order. Off and on Again. Imagine not in ho I get mode for over 6 min with no movement and no sound from the machine.

Suggestions?

Sentence should read I am again in the homing mode with no sound or movement within the machine. Also my machine is now listed as off-line

So after 4 off, break, on again, I am printing again. Sorry for the post

Don’t be sorry - I’m betting someone from Support will at least check the logs on your machine to see if there’s anything worrisome - but YAY on getting it printing again!

Any idea how it got knocked off in the first place? Freak accident, or something that might happen again?

I have had a magnet or pin that was left high enough to hit. When that happens I push the arm all the way back and the back aligns the arm then the head all the way to the left has solved that issue for me.

Not sure. It may have been a “holder” I had to keep wood flat. Been using it forever, but…who know.

Thanks for heads up for future. I have no idea what really happened.

Good to hear you got your laser arm back on track! If you have trouble like this in the future, please be sure to let us know. It looks like your Glowforge is connected and you’ve been able to print since contacting us. That’s great!

Could you please let me know if you’re still experiencing any problems?

Going like gang busters!
