Not related to Glowforge but I had to ask all of you smart people out there, what fabric or spray are they using to get this effect?

I don’t know specifically, but there are all kinds of color-changing paints available nowadays. Some respond to temperature, some to UV light.

There’s also paints whose color changes as a function of the angle of incidence of the light that’s hitting it. “Chameleon” paint for autobodies.

It seems like a cool idea, but I wonder how breathable the fabric is after being painted?

Self darkening glasses?
