How do you supply the name for your GF?

I went through setup, and successfully printed my Founder’s ruler, but was never presented with an option to name the machine. It just has a random 6 character name.

that was one of the questions they ask me during the set up, you set a name for for adding the machine to my wifi network. I do not know if you can go back and change it.

I never got asked for a name, it just told me to look for the “Glowforge XXX-XXX” wifi network. I guess I’m stuck with a lousy name.

that was when I got to assign the name.

I believe it asks at the end of the set up process. Either way, you can contact Support and they will get you squared away with the name that you want.
