How to Do Gradient Images?

So I have something wondering around in my brain. I am wondering if it is possible to create a leather die cut from thick acrylic using gradients. i was wondering if it was possible to create sharp enough and thin enough lines to cut leather when put under pressure.

You’re asking two different questions.
You can certainly engrave an image with gradients (like a 3d stamp out of Delrin, commonly done).
As for cutting leather - that’s going to depend a lot on what material you use and the specific leather. In general, I’d suspect there isn’t a material strong enough that a 40-45 watt co2 laser can cut through that will handle the pressure needed to cut leather. There’s a reason leather clickers are rated in tons and that clicker dies are made of steel.

you can certainly make some leather stamps to stamp your leather with the acrylics!
