How to print a design bought on etsy

Hi. Can someone please explain to me how to print a design I bought on etsy that is in “ai” format?
I’m brand new to glowforge.

You could download and install Inkscape. It’s a free program. Open your design file in Inkscape and save it as an SVG file. Then it should open in the Glowforge app.

If you have Adobe Illustrator you can either open the file and copy/paste the art work to your GF dashboard or export an SVG format. (Exporting sometimes has sizing issues, the forum has lots of tips for fixing that)

If you don’t have Illustrator try changing the file extension to .pdf and uploading that.

You can easily ask the file seller to provide the file in SVG or PDF format if none of the above ideas work for you.
