i was browsing a website and i seen some silicone placemats for kids. i know we can engrave on silicone but i also know all silicone isn’t laser able. what are some things to look for when looking online at silicone
Do you have a source for this knowledge? The only silicone I have heard of being bad to laser is liquid silicone implants.

some silicone could have chlorine in it or it could not be true silicone, both would result in a nasty situation to try and laser.

i looked around a little and found no mentions, that’s why I asked for some kind of source.
the site you linked advertises the product as “100% bpa-free food-grade silicone”. You can always do a copper-wire test to confirm.
