I get the error "Filled Shape is Open"

I am frustrated - this exact same set of paths and text was cut and etched absolutely fine in December. Sad.

I don’t even understand how to make this “simpler” as a shape. I mean - It is a couple paths and some text and the paths are super simple.

I downloaded the SVG and it looks good. If that is an error message from the Glowforge, that is a new notification and indicates that a new functionality is implemented. Before an open filled path just processed and whatever happened, happened. Might be something coming out of the hopper.

I didn’t turn on my Glowforge, but I was able to open it in the GFUI with no errors.

I’ll keep poking around on it.

Can you post a screen shot of the file in the GFUI and the error message?

If you look in the in Layer 1 you’ll find a single path that is probably causing the problem. Remove that path and export again and you’ll probably be fine. The path is the one highlighted below.
