Made this from a color NOAA topo image designed to be printed on paper and folded into a globe. I’m hanging this flat as you’ve see it, with the segments spaced. Just need to figure out where! Baltic birch, but the engrave really transformed it into something akin to walnut. I’m happy with it.

I spent a while manipulating it to create suitable shading to engrave, and the landmass edges to score.
