Is the wheel suppose to have that missing piece ? I have notice a weird clunk/catching when the glowforge moves fast. I turned it off and moved the inside back and forth. When I get to the spot the catch happens I took a picture and found that small piece missing…is not supposed to be like that? Is this normal or broken ?

Sorry to say…yes, it’s broken. Honestly, I’m not sure which replacement parts they sell in the GF shop, but check there and see. I’m thinking that may be one that’s not user replaceable. I do hope it is, though.

So that would mean I would have to send the machine to them for repair and that’s probably going to cost a fortune ?
