Looking for users help with my machine, my machine is out of warranty and was working fine all morning until I swapped material out. I went to print and received the Alert interlock open failure. I went through all steps with no luck. Contacted support and was left two options which were buy a refurbished/new machine or send it to a third party vendor charging close to the same price as refurbished to repair.
I am looking to see if anybody has fixed this themselves. I can bypass the switch and that might fix it but more than likely I’m thinking it’s the mother board. We have the pro model. Apparently you can’t purchase this item. Any help would be great. Leaning towards a new manufacturer after this. This would be the third machine to be replaced or repaired.
