I was wondering if anyone here is risking international shipping on their own expense just to get the glowforge earlier or because your home country is not included in the list of shippable countries? Any stories out there?
I do know that if you ship it yourself then if it is DOA your return freight is not covered.
If 
ship it to you though then any problems with the machine on arrival that require replacement will also be covered by free return postage.

A few people from Canada have driven across the border. Another flew a unit to another country as aircrew.
I’ll be traveling 1231 km (round trip) and 11 hours driving from Central Alberta to get mine. So YOU KNOW that I’ll be taking it out of the box and inspecting it at the UPS drop before hauling it back.
