Is there a checklist for when your laser stops firing?

My glowforge basic stopped fireing mid task and finisched the cutting pad. This could mean different things… is there a step by step guide on where to start? I tried powering off but whit no result.

First thing I would do is check a known good file, like the Gift of Good Measure on a piece of Proofgrade Draftboard, and go from there.

Need more details.

Are any lights on, button flashing, message on the GUI (web), movement of the laser head, fans spinning up, is it cutting?

If all above seem correct, check your Settings and Power Level.
You would not be the first to cut at a power of “0”

Nothing abnormal, the tube just doesn’t seem to want to fire.

Yesterday it just stopped mid project whit firing.

I tried to restart,
tried different designs and settings,
cleaned the lens again,

And just now it’s offline so i can’t even test anymore… GRR

Unfortunately, it looks like your unit is experiencing an issue that we can’t resolve remotely. I want you to have a reliable unit, so I’m recommending we replace this one. I’ll be in touch via email to sort out the details. I’m so sorry about the bad news.
