Issues with wood thickness made for the patterns in the shop

Hi all,

I got my glowforge last week and took the premium subscription. I got a few patterns but they are made for 4mm thick wood (I think) and my wood is 4.5mm. Is there a way to set your wood thinkness so that the pattern gets modified accordingly?

If the patterns say medium they’re designed for approximately 1/8" and thick for approximately 1/4" - so closer to 3mm and 6mm. Sadly there is no way to modify for a different type of wood automatically.

Thin would be veneer, medium would be 1/8".

0.5 mm is so small, I would wonder if it’s possible to still fit or sand it down to fit without having to adjust the pattern.

Actually, to my knowledge, there shouldn’t be anything for 4mm wood. Medium is 1/8", or about 3.2mm, thick is 1/4-inch, or about 6.4mm.
