Hello! Could someone help me? My machine won’t cut. I’ve noticed that the laser isn’t turning on. Has anyone else experienced this? It doesn’t cut or engrave any material; it turns on but doesn’t perform any action.
There are many specifics that need answers to guess what the problem is. I would call the Glowforge office for help immediately especially if it is a new machine.
Do you know how long it takes them to reply? The truth is, I’ve had the machine for three years, but I don’t really use it that much; it’s practically brand new.
The time varies but if you think about their probable busy and lax times and use the direct help number it is usually pretty quick. I am on tablet and can’t type or get about much, but it will take a bitof conversation to narrow down your issue. Many “first contacts“ simply messes up their system and makes it take longer.
Some things I could answer on one issue, some need to work out the possible path to start looking. You might want to list as much as you can in d3tails here also.

Calling is your best and fastest option.
I already called and waited on hold for quite a while, but I couldn’t get through to anyone. I called again and selected the option for them to call me back. I’m praying that happens soon.
