It's a Holiday Thing

So my friend Ben was one of a two-person team that made the robotic version of Thing that Netflix used to promote the show Wednesday. So when I got an ad for a box of tiny plastic Things, I knew I needed to make something for him using them. Originally, I was going to make a wreath but my husband suggested I do a nativity scene…and it snowballed from there.

Most of this was made on my GF. the walls are double wall cardboard. The doors and railings on the roof are medium chipboard. The shingles are cereal box. The windows are acrylic and cardstock and the door handles and light over the door are cardstock as well.

I hope you enjoy and happy holidays to all those that celebrate this time of year!

Ohmygosh, this is amazing and hysterical! Your projects always delight. For the record, I think a wreath would have been amazing as well.

Very clever! And I love the design of the stable. Very cool.

Thanks! I tried to make it look like a carriage house for the 1991 Addam’s Family movie house.

A wreath certainly would have been easier but this was a lot of fun. I love that my husband comes up with these visions but then leaves it to me to execute :stuck_out_tongue:
