as i said the support answer me but cant help me i find what is my problem i need only to replace my start button i need a new one jus t the button i mentioned before sending my glow forge is tooooo costly and i need only this part i have an address in us for that please help i have to press the button and move the wires left and wright to start it is broken
It’s not just a button, unfortunately. It is an RGB illuminated button with a custom housing and lens.
It sounds like your problem is a broken wire due to a bad crimp in the wiring harness going to the button, so replacing the button won’t solve it. You will need to repair or replace the wiring to the button to solve the issue, based on your description. If that is in your skill-set you may be able to find the parts to do it yourself.
You know i will never find parts unless you support me and send me a replacement button i dont know what’s the problem in that i respect your policy of celling parts but i am special case
any way this means one thing if anyone out of USA, Canada, UK and want a Glowforge it is a wase of money as there is no way Glowforge will support you it is only for these country

and i will advertise this on youtube all peapole should be aware of this also when i participate in your kickstart my address was Kuwait and promised to deliver to me but you start delivering all people except me and you never solve this issue so i recived my glowforge in usa and ship it my self which was not your promise in the kickstart i am explaining how sad i am from this treatment after i trusted you
Ben is not glowforge support. Neither am I. We don’t speak for the company. We merely try to give user support along with others in the community in the time between someone posting and actual support getting back to you. Ben has stated that it sounds like wiring and not the button itself. He’s probably right. That means “parts” you need are a piece of wire and solder. I would expect that to be easy enough to find even in Kuwait.
Glowforge support will get back to you eventually and you’ll know them by the color of the post and they usually have “staff” next to their name.
thank you for clearing that because i was upset from the email and thought the glowforge send this to me, i will wait and try to contact the actual support the telephone they provide in UK working but they cand help me but the Usa number is only to to be called within USA and Canada
They dont have International Number for support
Posting here does open a ticket with them. They just take a little time to reply here sometimes.
