Just another tile with my easel

Here is my try at engraving on a tile for the first time.

All I had was some Rub-N-Buff Gold and it came out very good.
Wipe it on, wait a few minutes and wipe the excess off.

I engraved this at 350,Full,675LPI

Also here is the little easel I designed to hold my tiles.

The tile turned out great. I keep seeing Rub-N-Buff Gold on projects, and may have to get some.

Thank you for sharing your file!

Know that you use it VERY sparingly. A little goes a long way…

I’m making a little plaque for my boss’s going away… and forgot to make an easel. You just saved the day, thank you!
I’m already up past my bedtime, not that I’ll be able to sleep after this Glowforge high!!

Thanks looks fantastic! Since it has manual settings, I’m moving it to Beyond the Manual. Feel free to remove the settings and let me know if you’d like it moved back.

New user here - looking for items besides wood - I love the thought of engraving on tile. Thanks for sharing Larry. I also do stained glass / fusible glass as a hobby/side hustle - I would love to try to engrave some glass too.
