Just starting

i just plugged in my new glowforge got ready to print and glowforge went offline. now i cannot get the blue light to come on to try and connect to glowforge. what am i doing wrong?

That teal light comes on when the glowforge is broadcasting for setup. You can reinitiate the setup process by holding down the button until it glows teal.

Maybe This will help.

Also make sure the network you want to connect your Glowforge to is dedicated 2.4gHz. The unit will not function on 5gHz, or if it’s “band steering”, which some providers think is great idea. It’s not, at least for the GF.

I’m so sorry you ran into trouble during setup. It looks like your Glowforge is connected and you’ve been able to print since contacting us. That’s great!

Could you please let me know if you’re still experiencing any problems?

All is well, Wifi was inadequate and has since been upgraded. Thanks for the follow up

I’m so glad you were able to get connected! I’m going to close this thread - if the problem reoccurs, go ahead and post a new topic. Happy printing!
