Laser shutoff

Laser shutoff mid print. Checked outlet, breaker and all electrical and nothing. The computer and printer are plugged in and work just fine. Breaker is good. Laser wouldn’t turn back on until I unplugged and plugged back in. Now it’s stuck in scanning.

Everytime I get a replacement for one my other machine starts acting up and it seems like a endless cycle. I literally just got a refurb replacement for my other machine up and running. :sob:

When you power on the machine, how far through the homing cycle does it get? Does the clicking from the print head occur and then the print head moves to the center?

Hi @jv1840 My name is Mercedes and I’m part of the Technical team here at Glowforge.

I’m so sorry you are having so many issues!

Unfortunately, I don’t have a machine associated with this email.

Could you please confirm the serial number of the printer having the issue for me?

The serial number can be found on the back of the Glowforge, printed on a sticker near the AC adapter on the right-hand side. It will look something like ABC-123-4.

Once I have this information, I’ll follow up with the next steps.
