Lasercut Drawer Unit Using Glowforge and Cuttle.xyz

Good morning! I just finished up a new video on creating a simple drawer unit using your Glowforge and Cuttle.xyz. Enjoy! How many of you are using Cuttle to create your designs? It’s pretty amazing software #notsponsoredyet

Thanks for sharing this. Do you notice any major improvements with the HD over the original Glowforge?

Thanks! The speed is probably the biggest improvement with the Pro HD. The other features are nice to have… but really the speed is biggest noticeable difference.

Awesome! Cuttle is pretty amazing. I do need to spend more time in the editor to learn more. But it’s perfect for things like birthdays, weddings (congrats, btw!), etc.

Thanks for the video! I keep forgetting about Cuttle, although I only have the free version. I’m not much of a designer, so don’t think of it too often. But I do know it’s handy to use.

I am always amazed about the amount of material needed to make a drawer.

My shop landlord picked up the unit and said, “My God is this thing heavy!!!”. ha!

You can get cheap, simple trays at places like The Container Store, and glue a nice front piece on. Also, you can cut them out of shipping boxes. I have a few little handy storage trays, for example, one for my honeycomb pins that lives on the side panel of my GF.
