Lens falls from head

We’ve recently had issues with our lens coming loose from the print head and needing to be pushed back up. In recent extreme cases, it has fallen out of the head and onto the bed below. When removing the lens for cleaning and then replacing it using the tool, it feels like there is no magnetic attraction from the print head. I’m attaching a picture inside the head with the lens removed. See anything obviously wrong? I can we re-magnetize the head?

Looking at mine it almost looks like the metal ring around your lens has stayed stuck inside your head…what does your lens look like?

Lens is still in one piece, but got damaged when it slid down during a cut.

You appear to have a metallic ring inside your print head that the lens sits on? Mine looks more like rubber or plastic gasket.

I think your best bet may be to call support and then send them that picture - ours may just be different generations of the machine.

See what they say after looking at it!

It is very easy to accidentally put the lens in upside down and have it make a mess when trying to cut. It is a good thing to remember “cup side up” when installing that lens. There is a magnet inside on a carriage that goes up and down as needed for focus, so it might not stay where you thought it should be. You use the magnet of the blue thing on removing the lens and the other end when putting it back. If it has problems after that you need to look deeper but that is 90% of the issues.

I’m having the same problem. Were you able to find a solution?
