The rear and front adhesive on my GF Pro’s lid have failed. What are my options tor getting this fixed? I am in Vancouver.
Is there any advice on a DIY solution?

There have been quite a few discussions regarding re-glueing if you utilize the search function.
I am not that far from the GF offices, so I was wondering if they have a fix option.
Beyond the manual has some epoxy recommendations, butI was hoping for the GF team to have an easy option.
I notice that you just posted in another thread, as well…and got a response from someone who had success in repairing the lid. The Seattle Glowforge office is not one that is open to the public, so you’d get no help there.
It is a visit I would love to make but I dont think there are any machines dealt with at that location. OTH you certainly might be able to get face to face help. Be aware that some very delecate connections are tied to the different parts so you want to keep movement to a minimum.
They did a few Open Houses back in the day, when they were smaller
In that post are a couple of pictures. Instead of gluing “in-place” with the lid still on the machine, I removed the lid and hinges. That simplified the process of cleaning and gluing greatly. Just make sure you unclip the black cable before removing the lid, you don’t want to yank on it.
Overall, I don’t remember this being a hard process at all. The foot-dragging before doing it was the hardest part.
Remember to double check the front as well as it has some tricky bits that will claim the lid is not closed if they get messed up. and a bad job at the hinge makes suspicion in the front.
