Lid open error, camera will not refresh

while using the unit tonight I cleaned after use. After cleaning the computers read stated “lid open” when the lid was closed with no obstructions in the way. I have tried restarting the unit, computer, and wifi with no new results. Please let me know what may be this issue keeping the unit in “lid open” mode with the camera not refreshing the new image.

It sounds to me like you jostled one of the cables when you did the cleaning. If I were you I would very carefully check all of them to be sure they are fully seated.


In addition to checking the cables, check to make sure your Glowforge is level, open the front door and double check the placement of the honeycomb tray and close the front door securely.
