My brand new machine has Lid Open error. Haven’t even used it yet. No obstructions, all connections are good.
Hi! There’s both a lid and a front door that folds down on the Glowforge. You may have folded it down to slide your crumb tray in. Make sure it’s been folded all the way back up and nothing’s fallen into the hinge and gotten stuck in there to block it from closing all the way. That door has to be closed before you close the lid or all the sensors won’t line up that tell the machine it’s safely closed. Just some things to check, good luck.
