Hi everyone,
i have a problem with perpendicular lines. When i cut simple rectangle the lines aren’t perpendicular.
The draw is a classic geometric form on illustrator.
Can’t tell much from the photo, but I did have a similar problem some time back and eventually discovered that the gantry was just a bit catywumpus. With the Glowforge completely turned off you can move the gantry to the very back and press each side so it is made parallel by the back wall. Then the head moved to the far left and turn the machine on again, If the gantry was the problem this should fix it.
Did the procedure that @rbtdanforth suggested resolve the issue for you? If you’re still experiencing trouble with lines not being perpendicular as designed, please let us know and we’ll be happy to help.
