Living Hinge

Just wondering if there is a faster way of cutting a living hinge using 1/8" material. It just seems to take awhile, but that may simply be normal.

There are a lot of intricate cuts to make for a living hinge. It takes time.

You could try a thinner material so you can up the speed, seeing as they’re pretty much just for decoration but, as stated above, they are intricate by-design, so I doubt that would save you much.

If the cut lines are longer rather than shorter over the same width that can help a bit. But not much in the scheme of things. Patience, grasshopper.

You may have better results (bending without breaking) using plywood. There’s not much to be done to speed up the process, though.
