How did everyone at Glowforge fare with the quake this morning?

West Coast is moving. We had another good Ridgecrest aftershock this morning too… pretty calm this far south thank goodness.

Shit, shit, shit. I can’t find it on the news anywhere…still looking.

4.6, here’s the event page: https://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/eventpage/uw61535372/executive

Thanks so much for posting…still nothing on the news. WTH.

Maybe we get more of that sort of news here because it’s seismically active. I hope that it wasn’t too serious there, a 4.6 can give you a good shake if it’s close to the surface. :frowning:

I’m across the sound from Seattle, and outside the “shake zone”, and didn’t feel anything. But another reminder to folks why Seattle’s old HWy99 Viaduct is coming down (intentionally now to avoid unintentional when we get hit with a bigger quake). Though it had a much nicer view than the new tunnel that has replaced it.

Slept through it! But it sounds like it woke some other folks up. Nothing major to report.

Thanks @aeva. :slightly_smiling_face:

How far away is the plant from Three Lakes ? I see there is a cloud of smaller >1 quakes in the area unlike CA that was nearly a straight line. So there is hope that it is not the pre-quake type. (at least by my understanding of things, which is not great)

Maybe your mountains got a little taller!?
