Help! 
My glowforge was working fine today. Then after a cut, a LOUD pop sound came, the lights in the glowforge went out, and now it won’t turn back on.
No, it is not the breaker.
I absolutely hate that there is not tech support to TALK to. It takes days to get someone to help. And of course, on a weekend, you’re Sol. 
Anything I can do on my own to fix this or is it shot?

What you describe suggests a power supply failure. Are you still under warranty? I have read of at least one PS replacement by an owner. The process is rather involved.

Ouch. I think that pop was the end of the machine for you unfortunately.
If you haven’t already done so, contact support.
Power supply. Start packing it up.
Unfortunately the warranty just ended last month. Devastated.
