Trying to score and the machine self-paused without an error message or yellow button. UI said “Paused, press the button to resume” but I pressed the button again and nothing happened. It did it a couple of times and I was able to get it to print but now it’s stuck. I get to every step, push the blue button and the fan turns on but the print head doesn’t go anywhere. I tried turning off, rebooting the computer etc., but nothing. Turned everything off for a while to cool off and nothing. Why does it self-pause?

A quick search leads me to believe this may be an issue that has occurred occasionally before, and you may want to reach out to customer support for them to help you with it. (Editing to also add that support does not monitor the forum, so you have to reach out through another method.)

Got the same issue here, started on Wednesday, still having it this morning-I read on another topic to check the exhaust fan, which I will do in a minute, but yeah, this is frustrating to say the least-I’ve got a couple jobs that need to be completed PDQ (we do engraved patch hats), if the fan is ok, then I’ll do a total restart…

Checked the fan, it was OK. Did a complete restart and everything is working again! We did have TS Debby go through here a few days ago, and had some power issues, so I think that may have upset all the wifi around here-did have similar issues with our office printers as well. When in doubt, restart!

I am having that issue how do u restart it please
shut down the computer, glow forge, and wireless router. Start the wireless router, let it come online, then start the computer, let IT come on line, then start the glow forge.
