I’m curious as to why they used Frank’s laser… not the pre-release Glowforge they have. Could be simply be because they were in LA not San Francisco, and the Glowforge is in San Francisco.

Ya they where at Frank’s studio so they didn’t have access to the GF.

Not a fan, it’s really ugly and impractical to transport, which makes it essentially useless for an ultra portable device like the switch.

I’ll probably make a version of this to keep at least the office.

ugly is relative, this would’ve looked awesome in my last condo, which is super modern and industrial!
