Had some time today to make another bottle vase stand. Blue tint bottle is from Hobby Lobby. Stand is 
walnut and inlayed is basswood. Went with a honeycomb pattern on each face.

Now doggone it, I’m wishing I had picked up that set of small vases I saw for $1 each at yesterday’s garage sale. They would have been perfect for this application. Nice job!

Before assembling, if one were to tape the back, to seal it temporarily; mix up some clear resin then separate into smaller “batches” and then add a variety of color to the batches; fill in some of the holes and leave some open; when dry remove the tape- you would have a true colorful mosaic thing happening.
