Misaligned circles cutting

Hi everyone - HELP! we recently changed all three belts due to general wear and alignment starting to cause issues. Now we are having tension issues and despite adjusting and re-adjusting the belt drive a number of times, now when we cut circles, they are cutting slightly different with some seeming to print stretching long by about 1.5 mm on a different side of the circle depending on where they are sat on the bed. We can’t seem to cut perfect circles anymore. This is a particular problem as one of our designs is three layers! Any ideas would be gratefully received. Thank you. Nikki

Were you sure to install the belts correctly, with the teeth to the inside of the loop?

The answer is in the belts and belt tension. You will just have to keep adjusting the tension until you get it right, or put your old belts back on.

as a side note, belts made recently could be quite different from the original belts.

lots of materials getting substituted out there in the world.

Hi @ca_worth I’m sorry to hear that you’ve run into some unexpected print results after trying some adjustments with belt tension. I received your email ticket as well, and just sent a response with troubleshooting step in that thead. To avoid any potential confusion, I’m going to close this thread so we can continue to work you on this through email. Thank you!
