I seem to be missing the leftmost 1" of the cutting area.
I placed a ruler on the draftboard and aligned it to the edge of the draftboard on the left.
As you can see the camera will not see the leftmost 1" (7/8" to be exact)
*Note: My GF is one of those that has a very lose camera lens if that helps diagnose it. (the lens will screw up/down at will, as I found out then I cleaned it)
Everyone’s is like that right now until they expand the cutting area. Right now, the camera sees it, but it is being cropped.
same as the up size, which at this time is for sure 10.625 and slightly more if you are willing to wiggle it around and find the sweet spot.

Your Glowforge unit’s wide angle camera should always be locked into focus. Unfortunately, that is an issue that we can’t resolve remotely. I want you to have a reliable unit, so I’m recommending we replace this one. I’ll be in touch via email to sort out the details. I’m so sorry about the bad news.
