While I’ve had my GF for a while now, I haven’t been able to use it until recently.
So, my first project is something simple.
The TARDIS and a Dalek. The TARDIS is out of red oak and the dalek is PG maple.
I would like to try my hand at my own mandala; we’ll see if I can step my game up to match the great ones I’ve seen posted here.

It came out great! You should try a mandala, I think you’d be good at it. Also look into spiral bowls.
Very nice. Using contrasting woods is always good. Ogres have layers, so do Daleks

You’re freaking me out. I guess it’s appropriate given the subject matter and all.
The photo from the front looks like eleven layers stacked on top of each other. Then the side photo shows you the optical illusion. Super cool! Exterminate it!
