My glowforge is wet inside

I opened up my glowforge today only to discover that it is wet inside. From what I have surmised from digging in to other, similar posts on this forum, it is an issue with leaking coolant. What can be done at this point? I was so excited to get started!!

You’re absolutely sure it’s not condensation flowing back through the vent while it’s been off?

We never even plugged it in… it was significantly wet, and came from inside the glowforge, rather than from outside the box.

The bad news is that it looks like it’s going to require support to get you taken care of, and more than likely replace the unit :frowning: the good news is that support is really awesome, and they’ll get you taken care of ASAP.

UPS breaks another coolant tank. They are truly talented.

I want to make UPS one of those “blank” days since destroying a GF signs, but really could just laser the zero in permenantly as it would never change.

Oh no! Thanks for letting us know. We’ll need to replace your Glowforge.

I see you already emailed us about this and we’re working on it there, so I’m going to close this topic.
