I love incense! I always have.
When I was a kid, I was forbidden to burn incense at home because, according to my dad, the only reason for burning incense was to cover up the smell of pot! LOL
But now that I’m old and Dad can’t tell me what to do anymore (not that he doesn’t still try!), I indulge myself all the time. This past week, I created some new incense burners and made them all!
I think these might be my favourites! I added two wells that I made out of stacked rings that can either hold tea lights or be used to burn sticks. There are holes in the bottom of the wells for the sticks. A brass plate makes burning a cone safe and easy. I hand-painted them in bright colours - it reminded me of colouring Doodle Art posters back in the day!
Continuing with the Hamsa theme, I made these lovely pieces that hold three sticks or one cone on the brass plate.
Balance and harmony are the goals of these simple Yin-Yang incense burners. They hold up to four sticks and two cones.
And I love the way these storage boxes with integrated burners turned out! I added rows of simple flowers on either side of the ash channel and I think they are quite lovely.
They clean up easily by wiping them with a damp cloth.
