My most recent photo burn

This was done on ⅛ Baltic Birch and I made the frame from some scrap mahogany that I had in the shop. The finish is a couple of coats of Walrus Oil. The photo was initially processed in Gimp with da big gimping 3.0 plugin. I finalized with a few tweeks to improve the contrast.

Thanx……burned photos make for really cool gifts….since they are unique you don’t have to worry about someone else bringing another toaster😉

Lovely work. Love the frame. Seems to draw out the darker parts of the photo also.

I agree. They are cool gifts that add a personal touch, and I’m a big fan of the mahogany used.

Thanks……I have tried several types of wood and found Baltic Birch to yield the most consistent results
