My Passthrough Has never worked properly on my Glowforge Pro

I’ve been frustrated with the customer support on my Glowforge Pro. My primary issue is that the passthrough rarely, if ever, works. My Cricut Explore 2017 has been more reliable for what it is. Has anyone had success in repairing this issue?

There are designs that are more difficult to use with passthrough, I believe that thread gets into it.

Awesome. Yeah the camera on the head can’t see all the way to the right edge of things. It has to clearly see the extreme upper right and upper left sides of your design at the point where it’s making the transition from one step to another. Like any constraint, it can affect your design and/or workflow.

For example: if you are trying to do something like a 19” diameter circle you should try to do it in such a way where the widest point isn’t at one of the transitions between steps if that makes sense. It may require you to move it just a little bit instead of the whole 7ish inches so that your transitions are not right at the widest part of the circle.
