Naming designs

I have been playing with designing boxes in the GFUI, and I just found out that I can rename my design just by clicking in the box next to the “material” in the dashboard and naming it what I want! Has this always been a thing? Or am I slow and just realizing this great feature! I imagine I still have to export the design to save it, but if I’m making a lot of changes, this is an easy way to remember what I want to call it, v1, v2, etc.

Yup!

You can also bookmark the design in your browser if you know you’ll be coming back. Just open the design and bookmark the ui page. Instant access from your favorites menu.

I didn’t think it was always there, but it doesn’t matter - it’s there now, if it is useful to you.

It’s definitely been there for years if not from the beginning. You need it if you hit the new design button, lest all of your designs have the same name.

I can’t remember the first time I used it but assumed it was original. If I was going off on a tangent I would save and rename so I could keep what was done, if I got lost in the weeds.

Hadn’t thought about bookmarking a particular design, that’ll save a lot of time, thanks! Before to rename something, I clicked the three dots from the main dashboard next to the design and renamed it from there. I just never realized I could rename it while IN the design!

Aaah, no I don’t think that’s been there since then beginning, just renaming in the dashboard, but I don’t think I ever tried so…
