Naughty Earrings

Figured more views with Naughty than Nautical. Let us call them Naughty-cal and move on…

So, some friends who live on a boat are docking for a bit and we decided to make some earrings for the girls.
I made a complex anchor at first, but the wife said ‘Bleh, too busy’.
So I made one as simple as I could, just to tug on her.
She said they were perfect?

Regardless, the girls are the winners since they are getting both, heh heh.

She was right. Smooth, clean graphic that can be easily recognized at a distance.

Boooo!

My aunt would go bananas for these! Did you use two tone acrylic?

Sure do.
I have many two color (0.060) acrylic choices. It really pops for earrings and even signage. There is a two color parameter link tucked into the forum that I use. Those numbers are still valid.

Using a rose-gold/black or gold/black is ideal for name plates. Looks metallic until you examine it closely.

Here is another project that put a lot of this into play (inlays, inlays IN inlays, 2 color acrylic, draftboard 3D).

The anchors on the left look suspiciously similar to the logo of the company I work for.

I’ll just pretend it’s free advertising.
