Can someone give me tips on reattaching the driver belt? It’s so inflexible that I can’t actually slip it back on.
Is there something that can actually decrease the gap?

This is the step where I’m struggling
As long as the belt path is correct it just requires a decent amount of finger strength to wrap it around the pulley. No other adjustments to tighten or loosen it are required. If it came off, it will go on.
Thanks! Got it to work.
Cool! Just like putting the bicycle chain back on the pedal sprocket. Get it started, hold it there and pull the gantry or the head in the direction needed to roll it on.
Begs the question why it came off in the first place…
Probably removing carriage to clean air assist fan.
Yup, cleaning the air assist.
I’m glad you resolved it! I’m going to close this thread. If you run into any other trouble, please start a new topic, or email us at support@glowforge.com. We’re here to help!
