New glowforge will not open community or support page

We received a new glowforge to replace our retrograde pro. Our new glowforge will not open up the community page or support pages. It keeps telling us our connection is not secure and the certificate is not valid. Our IOS is up to date as well as chrome. The app opens and we can create but no other glowforge page will open.

I’m sorry, I’m confused as you just posted this in the community forum. What precisely is happening?

The Glowforge itself doesn’t open the community and support pages. Have you tried clearing out the cookies in your browser?

You posted in the correct spot. This is the Problems & Support area. I do suspect that the issue is on your end, but I’ve been known to be wrong.

I wish I knew what it was. The OS on our IMac is up to date, so is chrome. We are using our MacBook now because all pages are opening correctly.

The problem is with the certificate that’s on the iMac. Clearing the browser cache should have caused the certificate to be refreshed. But maybe not. You can explicitly delete certificates in Chrome. Unfortunately, I can’t tell you what certificate to delete. But if you do a search for “Chrome Delete Certificate” you’ll find instructions for how to do it…

Probably not related at all, however, be sure you’ve chosen the new GF replacement and it isn’t on the old one (upper right hand corner).

Also make sure your time and date are correct, having the wrong date on your computer could cause the certificates to be out of their valid range.

Thank you

Thanks

Hello! I see you already emailed us about this, and we’re working on it there, so I’m going to close this topic.
