New Glowforge, worked great for 2 weeks

Now it won’t cut through anything. Trying to cut more of the same things already cut, engraves beautifully but will NOT cut through. Tried different materials, proofgrade, went to simple cut, cleaned twice, did all troubleshooting. I have this order due in a week and only half of it done and I am panicking. Please help!

When you say you have cleaned everything, does that include the window on the inside left of the machine, the left side window of the printhead as well as the lens and mirror? What material is being used for the order due next week? Does the attempted cut look right (thin, even line) but just doesn’t cut through? Is it close to cutting through? Can you supply a photo of the Gift of Good Measure cut on proofgrade material?

Yes to all of your cleaning questions. I went by the cleaning video step by step. I am using medium draftboard proof grade material. And the cut looks perfectly normal with all details until you pick it up and the board is still whole. Not even close to being cut through no marks on the back of being close. I did a simple circle shape and ran it 6 times and it didn’t cut through but had marks on the back so I was able to push it out with a great deal of force.

When you add an image to your post, you have to wait for it to finish uploading before hitting the reply button to save the post, otherwise you end up with what’s here… a bunch of “Uploading…” text instead of your pictures.
