New items - Leather Bags!

Nice! Did you construct the bags, or buy them? I really want to try to engrave leather and was wondering about just purchasing a pre-made item so I don’t have to learn how to engrave and stitch it together all at once

I made the bags. I’ve been selling leather bags on Etsy for a while, but now that I just got the Glowforge, I want to add some bags with leather engraving in my shop!

What is the name of your shop?

This is an excellent edge dressing/burnishing paste and I use it on the flesh-side of the leather to get a satin-smooth finish. Really good stuff.

Thank you!

Beautiful work! These are nice! I have some patterns that I am attempting - I’m new to leather but have wanted to try for some time. I’ve made a wallet so far…

nice bags! I make bags too and haven’t had any issues using chrome tanned leather. Veg tanned seems to come out the nicest though - cutting and engraving.

Wow, a fellow bag maker! I’d love to see your work. Do you have a particular setting you like to use with chrome or veg tan (do you use different settings for different leathers)?

Gorgeous bags!! I will check out your Etsy shop.
