I like the new designs made with paper. I wonder how many posts there will be about fly away bits bursting into flames.
I found the settings were great for fabric lol. Idk if I would put paper in there yet. I have the same worry on that because not all paper is the same.
Well, the first time I cut paper (right after I got the machine nearly 4 years ago) I was quite surprised when things started flying around and catching on fire. Once the initial shock is over, you rethink the setup.
Lol! I for sure can see that! I don’t see any reason to put paper in the glowforge. I have a cricut for a reason, although the cricut is not nearly the same creative potential…except maybe with paper
If they get serious about paper they should let you turn the air assist way down if not off.
A Seklema mat really does eliminate the flyaways, if the paper adheres well. Maybe they’ll start carrying them in the shop.
