Newbie here :) Nesting with Illustrator

Hi Guys,

Awaiting the arrival of my GF - but prepping!
Anyone know of any software or a plugin for Illustrator that nests objects for optimal material saving?
I have tried:

  • Silhouette plugin - but it is not happy.
  • Tried downloading Deepnest but my Mac keeps throwing it in the bin as it cannot scan for malware
  • Tried illustrator.e-cut.ru again just clunky and didn’t work

Can anyone help?
