The laptop tells me it is connected to the glowforge then attempts to connect to the home wifi and is nol longer reachable- every time now.
I suggest you watch this video which explains the setup. Push the start button until it turns aqua, then go through the setup again as described in the video. If that fails, try using your phone as a hot spot and set up that way to see if the problem is the wifi.

Thanks for the help, @dklgood and @deirdrebeth! I checked out the connection logs from your Glowforge and it looks like you’ve been able to connect and start printing since you opened this topic. That’s great to see! I’m going to close this thread, but f you run into any other trouble with this, please start a new topic and we’ll be happy to keep digging.
