Ahhhhhhggg I’m at a Maker Faire and my GF isn’t sending a wifi signal for set up

What do you mean by

Make sure your device (tablet, notebook etc…) is on the same SSID that you plan to add the Glowforge. With the Glowforge on, Press and hold the button until it turns teal. Then go to http://app.glowforge.com/setup and follow the instructions.
